Game 1 vs Clapham (1-13)
I for one was pretty tired and pissed at having to shown up for a 9:00 game against a team that EMO as a club have only beaten in friendlies... there wasn't a huge amount of hope. But we went in with the slim hope of an upset... and were going to focus...read moreWelcome to the website of east midlands open - emo, an ultimate team based in the east midlands, UK.

vs London Revolution
A slow start in the rain, we turned on simple throws but got it back every time. We looked rusty but were just working things out in a game we knew didn't matter. 13-4vs Sharks
We knew these guys could give us a hard time if we let them; they are a...read moreemo 1: Tour 0 North Champions! (6th seed for A-Tour 1)
emo v Mustard
On Saturday we had a lot of easy games so decided to treat them as training sessions and as such we had different focuses for each game. In the mustard game we concentrated on the d line swinging the disc. They would have to move the disc from one side to another (either through cutters or handlers) and then back again before a call of “CHEESE” was made and the d line could then score. We did this well a few times however we also scored a couple of times before the cheese shout because we weren’t engaging our brains.
The o line where told to concentrate on running the right patterns however we failed to score a single O point without a turn, very disappointing and proved to be a theme for the weekend!!
We ran out easy winners at 11-4.

emo 2 vs Leeds (6-11)
A great chance for us to open up against what was likely to be our best opposition of the weekend, with just enough wind to make the game interesting. We went out knowing that we’d have to treasure the disc if we were going to score convincingly...read moreemo 1: MWL Champions '08/'09! (Winners at MWL 3)
Game 1 – vs Flight Club
Started out trading the game to 3-3, both teams were just getting used to first game of the day. We were slack on defence and they were getting some lucky shots. Our zone let a couple of goals in, in the first few points. We then won the game 11-3. We ramped...read more
